Redwop Polymer Repair Mortar is a premium, SBR-latex-enhanced cementitious mortar designed for structural repair and waterproofing. Its versatile, multi-use formula enhances bonding, reduces shrinkage, and improves abrasion resistance, restoring concrete surfaces with high durability and workability. Ideal for both horizontal and vertical applications, it delivers professional-grade performance with minimal labor.

Ideal Applications

Perfect for repairing spalled concrete, structural members (beams, chhajjas, slabs), balcony and balcony parapets, stairwells, and balconies. Use it as a bonding coat between old and new concrete, cementitious waterproofing systems, crack and pinhole repair, and under-tile waterproofing in shower trays and bathrooms. It’s also suitable for levelling screeds and refurbishing industrial floor patches.

Application Guide

Begin by cleaning surfaces to remove dust, grease, and loose particles. Mix 1 part Polymer Repair Mortar with 0.5 parts water and 0.5 parts SBR latex for a smooth paste. For structural filling, add up to 20 % sand. Stir until consistency is lump-free. Apply by trowel or brush on vertical surfaces in 3–5 mm layers; thick areas require layering. Cure by misting for 24 hours, avoiding rapid drying by covering with damp jute for 48 hours. Application range: 5–35 °C. Use up to 2 hours after mixing.

Key Features & Benefits

This mortar features strong adhesion (> 3.5 N/mm² per ASTM C882), enhanced compressive strength (> 20 MPa at 28 days), and reduced shrinkage thanks to SBR polymer integration. It seals hairline cracks, strengthens mortar bonding, and increases waterproofing efficiency. Its low-VOC, non-corrosive formula minimizes dusting and is eco-friendly. Its plastic consistency supports trowel or brush application, ideal for structural patching with long-lasting results.

FAQ's

RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) repairing involves the restoration of concrete structures using specialized products like epoxy mortar and bonding agents to enhance durability and strength.

Our epoxy mortar provides strong adhesion, resistance to environmental wear, and ensures long-lasting repairs for concrete surfaces and structures.

Anticorrosive coatings protect concrete and metal surfaces from rust and corrosion, ensuring the longevity and stability of your structures, especially in harsh weather conditions.

Fast-setting mortar is designed for quick repairs and setting, reducing downtime in construction and repair projects while maintaining high strength and durability.

Yes, Redwop chemicals offer versatile solutions suitable for both small-scale repairs and large industrial projects, ensuring reliable results every time.

Yes. It achieves > 20 MPa compressive strength at 28 days and belongs to structural-grade repair mortars.

Yes. Its polymer-enhanced consistency resists sagging on walls and overhead patches up to 10 mm thickness.

It reduces permeability significantly and is suitable for damp-proofing and minor waterproofing applications.

Cracks wider than 5 mm require filling in layers. For hairline cracks, apply a single coat.

Use only water or a recommended bond coat. For enhanced performance, follow Redwop’s protocol of mixing cement, water, and SBR as directed.

Approximately 90–120 minutes at 20–25 °C before it begins to set.

Yes. Suitable between 5–35 °C. In hot weather, keep mortar damp for 48 hours; in cold, avoid application below 5 °C.

Yes. Remove loose material and apply a bond coat of Redwop bonding agent for best adhesion.

Yes—paint or tile after 48–72 hours of cure when the patch surface is firm and dry.

Polymer Repair Mortar offers stronger adhesion, flexural strength, waterproofing, shrink resistance, and durability compared to ordinary cement mortar.
