G-PERIBOND

G-PERIBOND is a surface bonding agent designed to improve adhesion of gypsum plaster on smooth, lowabsorbent substrates. It removes the need for surface hacking or roughening by creating an effective bonding layer on surfaces such as smooth concrete.

Advantages

  • Applied as a single coat only.
  • Can be applied using a paint brush with 4-inch or 6-inch bristles.
  • Simple paint-like application process.
  • Contains fine aggregates that enhance mechanical bonding.
  • G-PERIBOND is the only bonding agent that provides both mechanical and chemical bonding:
  • Mechanical Bond: Achieved through suspended, inert fine aggregates screened on a 500-micron sieve; pure white in colour.
  • Chemical Bond: Achieved through a dry polymeric film; green in colour for easy identification of treated surfaces.
  • One-coat gypsum plaster can be applied once DC Bond has completely dried on the surface.
  • The only bonding agent specified for use with onecoat gypsum plaster.

Uses :

  • Used as a bonding agent on all smooth, lowsuction surfaces prior to application of gypsum plaster.
  • Suitable for RCC ceilings, RCC shear walls, and other substrates where bonding problems may occur.
  • Water-based emulsion with a neutral pH value in the range of 7 to 9, making it non-reactive.
  • Non-inflammable in nature.
  • Eliminates the need for surface hacking.
  • Ensures a strong, firm, and durable bond between one-coat gypsum plaster and the substrate.
