What is TERATILE PROLIX tile adhesive? +

TERATILE PROLIX is a high-performance, polymer-modified cementitious tile adhesive of Grade Type-IV, C2TES2. It is designed for fixing ceramic tiles, glass mosaic, vitrified tiles, and all types of natural stones, especially in tile sizes of 5”x4”, 6”x8” and above, on both floors and walls. It performs reliably in both internal and external environments, including submerged applications like swimming pools.

What types of tiles are suitable for TERATILE PROLIX? +

TERATILE PROLIX is ideal for porcelain tiles, vitrified tiles, ceramic tiles, and natural stones like sandstone, khatu, lapato, quartz, limestone, granite, elevation stone, Rajasthan black stone, composite stone, glass white, and marbles for internal installations.

How should I prepare and apply TERATILE PROLIX? +
  • Clean the surface thoroughly to remove any efflorescence, laitance, dirt, or loose particles.
  • Lightly sprinkle water over the surface to dampen it.
  • Clean the tile backs with a wire brush and rinse to eliminate dryness.
  • Mix 20 kg of adhesive powder with approximately 5.2 liters of clean water using an electric blender until a smooth paste forms.
  • Apply the adhesive to both the substrate and tile, and comb it for better grip.
  • Press tiles firmly into place.
What is the coverage of TERATILE PROLIX? +

Approximately 3.5 kg/m² at a 3 mm thickness using a thin-bed trowel. Actual coverage may vary based on substrate condition and technique.

TERATILE PROLIX has a shelf life of at least 24 months when stored at room temperature (around 27°C) in a dry place.

  • Do not add extra water or powder once the mixture starts to set.
  • Avoid skin contact; the product is slightly acidic. Rinse off immediately with water.
  • In case of eye contact, wash thoroughly with water and seek medical help.
