TERATILE CLASSIC is a cement-based, polymer-modified tile adhesive of Grade TYPE I C1TE, designed to fix ceramic and clay tiles on floors and walls. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
You can use it for residential and commercial tiling in areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, terraces, and other wet or dry environments.
It can be used on cementitious screeds, concrete surfaces, plastered walls, and brickwork. The surface must be clean, level, and free from dust or grease.
Mix 20 kg of powder with about 6.5 to 7.0 liters of clean water to form a smooth, lump-free paste. Let it stand for 5 minutes and then apply it using a notched trowel.
The pot life (usable time after mixing) is 2 to 3 hours, and the open time (time before the adhesive starts to set after spreading) is around 20 minutes.
TERATILE CLASSIC is ideal for standard ceramic and clay tiles. It is specially applied on flooring tile and ceramic tiles. For large format or vitrified tiles, Redwop recommends using specialized adhesives like TERATILE PREMIUM or the PLATINUM series.
