Polymer Tile Adhesive
Polymer Tile Adhesive (e.g., Redwop’s POLYMIX) is a water-based adhesive made by emulsifying vinyl acetate, EVA, or acrylic polymers in water. It’s free from flammable solvents, making it safe and easy to handle. This adhesive significantly improves bonding strength to substrates like concrete, masonry, plaster, and stone, while also enhancing compressive and flexural strength, reducing water permeability, and increasing abrasion resistance. As a result, it’s ideal for demanding applications such as external walls, heights, dust-prone areas, and general tiling where extra adhesion is required.
Redwop’s polymer-modified cement adhesives (e.g., Teratile Silver, Gold, Diamond) combine cement with polymer additives, meeting standards like IS 15477 and EN 12004. These products (classified as C1TES1 or C2TE, depending on variant) offer strong initial grab, waterproofing, slip resistance, deformability, and suitability for use in wet areas such as showers or submerged conditions .They support a wide range of tiles—from small ceramics to large-format porcelain, stone, and mosaics—delivering durable, long-lasting performance across indoor and outdoor environments.
